Companies would make an advance announcement of the price for 50% supply available to State governments and in the public market before May 1. Based on this price, States, industrial establishments, private hospitals, etc., would procure vaccine doses from the companies.

Individual hospitals would have to obtain their vaccines, particularly from the 50% supplied to the States and open market.

On Monday, the Government of India announced the COVID-19 Vaccination drive would be available to all above the age of 18 years, starting May 1. As a result, every citizen of India over 18 years of age will be qualified for the coronavirus vaccine, regardless of comorbidities.

The decision on a ‘liberalized and stimulated Phase 3 strategy of COVID-19 vaccination’ was considered after Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with doctors.

Coronavirus vaccines will be free of charge at all government-run COVID centers, while private hospitals can “transparently report” a self-set amount for the vaccine.

COVID-19 Vaccination Phase 3: How to Register

•  Head to the official website of CoWIN – cowin.gov.in
• Insert your 10-digit Aadhaar number or mobile number
• You will get an OTP on the mobile number. Register it in the given space.
• Once logged in, schedule your preferred date and time
• Get your COVID-19 vaccination done.

After this, you will get a Reference ID through which you can receive your vaccination certificate.

You will require at minimum one of the given documents at the time of registration, along with a Photo ID

The government stated procurement, qualification, administration of coronavirus vaccines are being created flexible. As per the order, vaccine companies would provide 50 percent of their monthly Central Drugs Laboratory delivered doses to the Government of India.

They would be free to provide the left 50 percent doses to state governments and the public market.

As of Monday, Nation has contributed 12.4 crore doses of vaccine as of January 16. When it started up vaccines for those over 45 on April 1, there was an opening surge in vaccinations every day — touching 4.5 lakh on April 5. However, numbers decreased regularly after that.

On Monday, the Government delivered about 2.8 million doses.

The different States have complained of deficiencies and ought to close down vaccination centers.
